Location Update: After a heartbreaking series of recent setbacks, our wonderful Chloe is currently in a stressful boarding facility. She was recently shifted from a military foster family who could no longer keep her, then a planned foster-to-adopt placement fell through at the last minute, followed by a temporary foster placement that was unsuccessful due to incompatibility with the resident dogs. She is now desperately needing a quiet, loving foster home (or her forever home!) before the holiday season begins. Fostering saves her from the anxiety of long-term boarding and gives her the comfort she deserves.

We are offering a "Foster to Adopt" option for qualified applicants!

Meet Our Resilient, Silly, and Sweet Chloe

Hello everyone! We are thrilled to introduce Chloe, a resilient and fun-loving dog who has been in our care for about six months. Chloe came from a very rough, abusive background, and we are so proud of the tremendous progress she has made.

It took her about two months to truly warm up to her previous foster mom and her resident dogs. Once her trust was earned, she transformed into a genuine, silly ball of energy! She absolutely loves to run, jump, and play, and her joyful personality shines through every day.

Chloe is estimated to be a little over a year old and is fully vetted. She is house trained and knows basic commands like "sit." She is excellent on a leash, but because of her past, we believe she may have been harshly pulled by her neck. While she will wear a collar, we recommend attaching her leash to a provided harness for her comfort and safety.

Chloe's Preferred Forever Home

We are excited for Chloe to find the stable, loving environment she deserves. Here are her specific preferences to ensure a perfect match:

  • Gender Preference: Chloe is most comfortable with women as the primary caretaker, as she tends to bond quicker. She is fine with men, so male applicants are welcome, but please be patient while she adjusts.

  • Dogs: Chloe would thrive best as an only dog. It took her time to integrate with her previous foster siblings (around two months), so we prefer applicants with no other dogs.

  • Cats and Other Animals: Excellent news! Chloe gets along great with cats and smaller animals.

  • Children: Chloe would fit best in a home with children who are around 8 years old or older, or an adult-only home.

She has been through so much and has grown immensely. Please consider opening your heart and home to Chloe this holiday season. Whether you can offer a temporary foster placement or a permanent home, you would be saving her from unnecessary stress.
