Mello is a handsome Pit mix who just wants to be part of the action! This guy is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and has a proven history of being a wonderful family member—he was successfully adopted and loved for 4.5 years before recently being returned due to changes in his previous owner's circumstances.

Mello would thrive in a busy, active home that can keep up with his endless enthusiasm for life!

Mello's Ideal Match

Mello is a strong dog with a big heart and a powerful play drive. To ensure he finds his perfect, stable environment, here are his specific needs:

• Activity Level: Mello needs an active home where he can run, play, and burn off energy daily. If you are an experienced dog owner who enjoys hiking, jogging, or large play sessions, Mello is your guy!

• Kids: Mello does well with children. However, due to his size and strength, he would be best suited for a home with older kids (8 years and up) who can handle his enthusiastic running and chasing during play.

• Dogs: Mello is generally great with other dogs, but they must be properly introduced and ideally be of a similar size to match his play style.

• Small Animals (No Cats/Small Dogs): We cannot place Mello in a home with cats or very small dogs. This is not due to aggression, but purely because he loves to play and chase and simply doesn't know his own size! If they run, he chases, which could easily overwhelm a smaller animal.

Mello is a truly great dog who is ready to shower his new family with love and affection. He deserves to be back on a sofa and not in a kennel.
